The system shall provide a single database and interface for entering and updating IT related changes and business requirements for all new products and services that the company wishes to take to the market. The data needs to be stored in a central system or a Central Management Database (CMDB) that supports automatic updates and without the need for any manual intervention.

The system shall support integrated change management system to process, manage, track and control all IT related changes minimizing their impact on IT systems.

The system(s) shall be able to run on all best-of-breed server hardware (e.g. HP, Sun etc…), best-of-breed Operating Systems, and be compatible with best-of-breed database platforms. Moreover the system shall be ITIL compliant.
